Mailänderli, Christmas Cookies from Switzerland

Stir in a bowl
250g butter at room temperature, add
a pich of salt
225g sugar
3 eggs.
Rib off the skin of a lemon,
500g flour

mix all that in a bowl, let it rest for 2 hours in the fridge.

Make the cookies, rest them again for 15 minutes or more in the fridge.
Bake them in a oven, preheated at 200°C (approx. 392°F) for 10 minutes.

Tip: Color the cokies with a egg yolk before baking them.
